Fit Food Friday #2

TODAY’s fit food friday recipe is for bircher muesli.
as most of you know, i am off both feet at the moment having had surgery on monday.
my mumma &nurse is being an unreal support by not only helping me walk but by preparing me healthy, nutritious & delicious meals.
This would havE to be my favourite so far!

mumma’s bircher muesli.

*serves 3-4
=250 calories per serve
  • 1.5 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 3 tablespoons bran
  • 1/4 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup strawberries
  • 1 large apple
  • 20g sultanas
  • 1/2 cup non fat greek yoghurt

Mix all ingredients (except for yoghurt and any added extras) together into a large glass bowl. Place in fridge overnight. In the morning, chop up fruit and add to mixture, along with any added extras you desire.

Will keep up to a week in the fridge- not that it will last that long!

OPTIONAL ADDITIONS: blueberries, sliced almonds, 
dried apricots, peanut butter, protein powder....anything goes!
