This morning I was lucky enough to scam a lift to the gym with my boyfriend, who was on his way to work. Although he works in totally the opposite direction, he knows how happy the gym makes me and therefore agreed to take me! What a champ! How horrible am I though? I got out the car in such a hurry and with such excitement to start training, I forgot to say thanks and give him a kiss! Whoops 🙂
The socks say it all! “Train Hard Tuesday” was the motto of my morning. Who knows when I will be able to get my next lift to the gym, so I have to go hard in every set and in every session!
Today I focused on my glutes, which was bound to be tricky as it required me to stand on my feet and even add weights. My booty hasn’t been worked in a really long time! But excuses don’t build muscle, hard work does. So I followed my routine (as posted below) and killed it!I also sat on the spin bike for about 20 minutes after my workout, as instructed by my surgeon. I couldn’t put my feet in the stirrups just yet as they are still too swollen and sore, but it felt great to get my heart rate up! As you can imagine, by the end of the session I was desperate to get out of my sneakers but was proud of what I accomplished and can’t wait to write-up a new workout for tomorrow!
