Solomon’s Cafe Review.

This morning to celebrate a friends very belated birthday, we decided to enjoy breakfast together in the city. We caught the train into the city and enjoyed a morning walk from the station to Highgate along Beaufort Street, until we hit the health conscious cafe called Solomon’s.

We had been desperate to try Solomon’s for quite sometime nows as it boasts healthy meals from local, fresh produce and suits many dietary requirements such as vegan, vegetarian, nut-free, paleo and raw foodists. We arrived at 9.30am (the time we had made the reservation for) only to find the usually busy cafe, rather quiet. The waiter was attentive and brought a jug of water to our table for taking our coffee orders and giving us time to look over the menu.

There were so many delicious items on the menu, however I opted for two poached eggs on toast with a side of grilled mushrooms ($16). Ally chose the raw dehydrated crepes with banana, coconut yoghurt & nectar($19) and Jill went for the “breakfast special of the day” Eggs Benedict ($23).
