Pink Iron.

IMG_4102Today was an awesome day. As a reward for reaching one of my personal goals, I booked a session with Holly Holton at the Pink Iron Gym, in Los Angeles. I am in LA for only a few days in the middle of December and meeting Holly and training at Pink Iron was at the top of my To-Do list!
Pink Iron is a women’s only gym that has state of the art facilities and group fitness classes targeted specifically for women, not to mention all pink equipment!

IMG_4101Holly Holton is the owner of Pink Iron and a massive inspiration to me. When she moved to LA she was in search of a good gym and good friends, a situation I will find myself in very shortly! Holly was disappointed in the selection of gyms in LA, finding them both ineffective and out-of-date, so decided to take a risk and dedicate her life to building her own dream gym. She wanted to build a community in which not only she would be proud of and motivated by, but an environment in which women wanted to be in. A gym in which women wanted to train and build themselves into being the best versions of themselves.
Pink Iron is the product of her creation. Holly lives her dreams everyday by helping women so that they can not only achieve their personal fitness goals but to also gain confidence and feel like they are a part of something important.

IMG_4103I came across Pink Iron many months ago when we first started throwing around the idea of moving to the States. I was on the internet in search of the perfect gym and wanted to find an all-girls gym to maximise my opportunity of making like-minded friends. Although we will not be living in LA, I could not miss out on the opportunity to train at Pink Iron, a gym that I would love to mimic back here in Australia one day.Do yourself a favour and check it out online at  www.pinkiron.com

IMG_4104Bring on December 18th when I will participate in PINK FIT with Holly Holton. This class is their most popular and combines cross training methods by combining strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, functional movements, and flexibility to challenge the body. This class boosts metabolism, build strength and endurance, blast body fat, and build lean muscle.

Of course I will share this experience with you so stay tuned!
