Get Hooked on Seafood at BRIO, Columbus!

BRIO SAID SEAFOOD & I SAID… WHEN?

From Tuesday, April 3–Sunday, June 17, BRIO Tuscan Grille locations at Polaris Fashion Place and Easton Town Center are inviting guests to indulge in the beauty of spring with a Seafood Celebration, featuring chef-inspired seafood items for lunch and dinner. These made from scratch dishes include the finest and freshest ingredients and I get to be one of the first to put them to the (taste) test tomorrow night 😉

BRIO (meaning “lively” or “full of life”) is a “polished casual” restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine. The subtitle, “Tuscan Grille” is descriptive in the menu that features oven-roasted steaks, chops and seafood, similar to what one would find in an authentic ristorante in Tuscany. BRIO’s philosophy is “to eat well, is to live well;” which is why it only uses the finest and freshest ingredients.

According to BRIO Tuscan Grille Chef & Culinary Director Alison Peters, “Spring is the ideal season to present a seafood celebration for our guests, and we are excited to serve these fresh, delicious dishes.” So what is part of BRIO’S spring selection I hear you ask?

It has been suggested that the perfect way to start off the meal is with BRIO’s tasty Calamari Fritto Misto, fried to a crisp golden brown with pepperoncini.

Then, I have NO IDEA how I am going to decide what to order, with these incredibly delicious items being offered:

  • Strawberry Balsamic Salmon Salad (lunch only): Mixed greens, salmon, grapes, spicy pecans, Gorgonzola, herb vinaigrette
  • Grilled Salmon Fresca: Grilled asparagus, sweet potatoes, spinach, red peppers, pesto vinaigrette, Feta, tomatoes, balsamic glaze
  • Shrimp Mediterranean: Spicy grilled shrimp, orzo, farro, broccoli, asparagus, grape tomatoes, spinach, Feta, pesto vinaigrette
  • Lobster & Shrimp Ravioli: Spicy black pepper cream, spinach, grape tomatoes

BUT it doesn’t stop there folks… what better way to complement these seasonal dishes than with delicious drinks including  Blackberry Fizz, Blackberry Cooler and Blackberry Infused Cosmo. Oh an since the hubs is coming with me and he cannot refuse something sweet, we may just have to try one (or both) of the suggested sweet endings, which are the Crème Brûlée with vanilla bean and caramelized sugar, or a slice of the Seasonal Cheesecake.

In addition to BRIO’s Spring Seafood Celebration, they are also hosting a gift card promotion! From Monday, April 9–Sunday, June 17, for every $100 in gift cards purchased, guests will receive a FREE $25 bonus card, redeemable Monday, June 18–Friday, Aug. 31. The spring gift card promotion is available for purchase in BRIO restaurants and online.
