You might have seen it take over the internet? The 1-carb waffle? Well I was ALL about that until I didn’t have a waffle machine, nor the desire to buy one. So instead, I present to you… the 1-carb pancake recipe.
Although hardly a meal (as it only contains protein and very little other macronutrients) it can be worked in as a healthy alternative to carb heavy pancakes! I would suggest topping them with your favorite fruits, nuts and yoghurt or if you want something a little more savory, perhaps try it with a side of eggs and bacon too!
Once again, as with all my protein powders and supplements, I use Vegan Shakeology and can vouch for the consistency and flavor of it’s use in this recipe. Some whey proteins or low quality products can alter the flavor, taste or density.
