Slow Cooked Honey Pork Roast.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 850g  pork loin roast
  • 20mL hot sauce
  • 20mL Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 40g natural organic honey
  • 40mL liquid aminos
  • 50g grated parmesan cheese

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Spray bottom of slow cooker  pot with olive oil or oil of choice
  2. Place the pork loin roast in the center of slow cooker
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the above herbs, garlic, honey, liquid aminos and parmesan cheese
  4. Stir to combine then pour sauce over the pork loin roast until covered
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours
  6. Remove the cooked pork loin roast from the slow cooker and place onto large dish and shred using two forks
  7. Add the remaining liquid from the slow cooker into a medium saucepan and bring to the boil
  8. Simmer & stir regularly until sauce thickens. If sauce is too thin, add corn starch until consistency is as desired
  9. Pour the sauce over the shredded meat and serve with your favorite sides- not included in above macros.
  10. Serve & enjoy!
