IMG_5322The American and I came across Natural Temptation Cafe by accident when we made an unplanned stop in Bunbury on our way through to Margaret River. As always, when I arrive in a town that I haven’t explored too much in the means of dining, I rely on Zomato to recommend me a cafe or restaurant to suit my taste buds.

IMG_5320As we were making our way towards another well reviewed restaurant, I stumbled across this beauty of a cafe. The entrance grabbed my attention as in the doorway was a massive wooden “shrine” looking structure lined with candles and recycled decorations which really showcased what this cafe was all about- all things alternative!

IMG_5321We took a look inside and decided to sit at a table near the entrance, with an indoor/outdoor feel as it was removed from the main dining room and counter. Inside was perfectly lit with natural light and had an exquisite mural on the back wall. Our table was decorated with a mosaic and perfectly matched the overall feel of the cafe. We also enjoyed the communal counter with a variety of sauces, napkins, cutlery, water, salt and pepper etc was stored. It just made sense- after placing your order at the counter, you could swing y and grab what you need before returning to your seat.

IMG_5325I am very health conscious and quite particular with my nutritional intake, however my partner is not so much, which sometimes make choosing a cafe to suit both of us rather difficult. However, this was not the case at Natural Temptation, there was something for everyone. The American chose the Nachos ($12) which consisted of a generous serve of corn chips spread with their own delicious bean and herb salsa, melted cheese and sour cream on the side.IMG_5324 I opted for what was labelled the Legendary Temptation  Earth Burger ($10.50). What made me choose this was the fact that all their burgers are made to order so I could almost build it myself to my liking. I selected a toasted wholemeal bun with a filling of a nutritious vege pattie and salad with tomato chutney. It was so fresh and delicious and exactly the naughty treat that I was craving…only without the naughtiness!

We loved our short but sweet stop at Natural Temptations and only wish we lived closer so we could return and try some or all of their  salads. They were on display behind the counter and looked amazing! Very well priced, great service and food couldn’t be faulted!
