Reflect and reset!

Not everyday has to be awesome- but find something awesome in every day!

JPEG image-C0141C6A85AF-1This week has been “one of those” weeks.  No, I take that back… the last few days have been “a few of those” days. This week actually started off pretty great.
I trained super hard on Monday and ate really well too. I did F45 as my 5am fasted cardio then followed it up with a full day at school and then one of my best Chest & Tris workouts at the gym.

On Tuesday, I smashed three awesome sessions. I started my day with an F45 class, as my fasted cardio, then trained Glutes and Hammies after meeting a girlfriend for pancakes as my pre workout fuel and then a wicked Back & Bis session with Ali in the evening.

It’s only 45 minutes of your day!

IMG_2534F45 Functional Training… If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then it’s most likely you haven’t read about the fitness craze that’s taken over Hollywood and now Australia, due to the amazing results people are bragging about! It’s safe to say that you probably don’t follow me on snapchat (which you totally should- simone.mckenna) and it’s possible that you’ve been living under a rock! JUST KIDDING… BUT SERIOUSLY!

Why Stretch?

550310_10152619116213327_1941659151_nIf you are anything like me after a workout, I can be one of two personalities:
1) I’m skipping cool down and stretch session- Get me out of here ASAP I want to eat
or
2) I’m never moving from this stretch position. It feels so good, my body worked hard for this and it feels A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

So what is the importance of stretching? Is it so bad if I skip my stretch session at the end of a heavy workout? What are the benefits to my body if I do stretch.
