Self-Care Saturday & How to Say NO!
I want to share a self-care Saturday strategy with you: consider saying NO.
Learning to say no is hard, really hard. Many of us feel obligated to say yes when someone asks for our time or energy. Even if we are already stressed or overscheduled! Can anyone relate? Saying yes can lead to burnout, anxiety, resentment, and irritability.It’ll probably take some practice… but once you learn how to politely say no, you’ll start to feel more empowered and you’ll have more time for your own self-care.??The holiday season is hard, somewhat stressful & always busy... so if saying “yes” is not bringing you joy (or in fact making you feel the opposite) I give you permission to say NO.
