Stop Aiming for Perfect.

FORGET ABOUT BEING PERFECT.

"If error is corrected whenever it is recognised as such, the path of error is the path of truth." - Hans Reichenbach.

IMG_6402Set yourself a New Years Resolution? Beating yourself up because you have already slipped up? STOP! No one gets everything 100% right 100% of the time. What matters though is that you gave it 100% effort. Now I'm not saying that giving up on your resolution is A-OK, I'm just making the point that if you skipping a workout or you gave into the chocolate craving- as long as you did as much as you could with as much as you could- you've done your best.If something doesn't go according to plan or you find yourself criticising your performance, your success/failure of the final product, remind yourself that you gave it your best effort and that is the best you can do. There is nothing worse than walking away from something knowing that you could have done better, gone harder, tried more. Be content that you have done everything within your power to succeed and that in itself makes you successful.Always remind yourself that you gave your best and your best will always be good enough. Who knows, it might even inspire you, challenge you and push you to practice longer to fight harder next time...Next time you will be even better!
